To ensure the safety of guests, employees, contractors, and visitors during any crisis, minimize disruptions to operations, and protect the resort’s reputation. This policy addresses a wide range of potential crises, including natural disasters, health emergencies, operational disruptions, security threats, and reputational crises. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, guests, and visitors at Katathani Collection of Resorts.
1. The resort is committed to continuous preparedness through regular risk assessments, maintenance of emergency equipment, and conducting annual staff training. Key preparedness measures include clear evacuation routes, emergency kits, and regular drills to ensure readiness for any potential crisis.
2. In the event of a crisis, the CMT will be activated immediately. Communication will be disseminated to staff and guests via multiple channels, including direct notifications and public announcements. The resort will implement pre-established evacuation procedures and work closely with local emergency services to ensure a swift and efficient response.
3. Once the immediate crisis is over, the recovery phase will begin. The resort will inspect the property for damages, address any potential hazards, and provide updates to guests and staff. Normal operations will resume once safety is confirmed.
4. After a crisis, the CMT will conduct a debriefing to assess the response and identify any lessons learned. This will inform future crisis preparedness plans, improving the resort’s ability to respond to future emergencies.
5. The resort will allocate necessary resources, including personnel, training, and equipment, to ensure effective crisis management and preparedness.
This policy will be reviewed annually or as needed to ensure its continued effectiveness and relevance.
